Hi Everyone!
I keep telling myself, my nails will grow eventually, and they've grown out quite a bit since I decided to go all natural, about 1/2 way up the nailbed. I want to focus on natural nail care and maintenance. Have I had thoughts of going back to pretty acrylics?? Oh yea, for sure, but I made the commitment and am moving forward. :)
For the last week or so, we've been featuring polishes from the fabulous Pure Nail Lacquer line. Today I decided to use Virtuous. This is a creamy sheer baby pastel pink. I can so see this being paired in a reverse french mani or used as a base for a bold/pastel design. It's a semi sheer/opaque look in two coats which is what I used in the pictures below and I paired it up with one coat of Krafty Gurl's Pink Palooza which is one of our "confetti" type glitters in hot pink black and white. (the bold/pastel look) What do you all think?

Swatch and Review, Pure Nail Lacquer - Loving Me
Hi Everyone!
As to no surprise and for obvious reasons, I'm a HUGE supported of indie polish and polish designers. I've started my own collection of my favorite indie polishes and thought I'd start off my first review with a designer I recently ran across through Instagram. Pure Nail Lacquers. Pure is owned by Danielle who is the sweetest sweetest person, although I've only corresponded with her via IG and email, I can already tell if I ever met her in person, she'd be the same as she is "virtually".
My first swatch from her collection is "Loving Me". (Excuse my short nails, I'm still in recovery from LONG term acrylic nail use) This polish is a beautiful light purple, not quite lavender, almost mauvy creme color. I paired it with Krafty Gurl's "City View" from our Fall Collection. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these polishes. I really could have just done 1 coat of this polish and be done with it. That's how smooth and pigmented it is. I did two coats on this swatch for good measure and one sparingly done coat of City View. I wanted the glitter to be an accent only as I wanted the polish to really show through. I'm really looking forward to collecting more of Danielle's line, she has some amazing colors at unbelievable prices. Each polish is $5 for a full sized bottle and you can get them here at: www.purebeautyshoppe.myshopify.com

Swatch of Krafty Gurl's "Stone Heart"
Hi everyone! I had a totally different mani planned for today but I'm really glad I changed my mind. This one came out great. This is what I used to accomplish this mani. Two coats of Bettina's Platino, one generous coat of Krafty Gurl's Stone Heart (note: it's a chunky glitter so I did have to so some glitter placement) and my topcoat of choice is always Seche Vite.
You can purchase Bettina polishes at Walgreens in S.Florida or Walmart in Puerto Rico, however I recently found out you can email rosamadistributors@gmail.com with your order and they will Paypal invoice you.
Krafty Gurl Nail Dazzle polishes can be purchased at www.etsy.com/shop/kraftygurldesigns
